Bali

Bali, is among 17,500 islands across the Indonesian archipelago, it is one of the 33 provinces of the Republic of Indonesia. Bali, is a warm place that has sunshine throughout the whole year. The climate makes Bali that much of a better place to visit and to have a wonderful vacation at. One of the things that make Bali so beautiful is outside of the amazing resorts, Bali has some of the best temples and churches. Religion is very important to the soul of Bali people. Another thing that is a big part of everyday life is Agriculture. Having rice fields are what most peoples incomes come from.

The resorts at Bali are just as wonderful as outside the resorts. As you can see in the picture above, the resorts are not just lavish, but there are many activities to do as well. The Grand Hyatt Bali is the hotel/resort you see above, and it is is one of the top hotel/resort is Bali. It offers many actives including the following: a wonderful water front beach with shimmering white sand, quite walkways, 648 rooms with private gardens (gardens are one of the things that the Bali people love), The Grand Club ( a place were adults can go at night), Camp Nusa for children (parents can leave them there when they want a night out alone). I was personally interested in Camp Nusa this is like i said a place for children/teenagers to go. It includes five different pools, water slides, tennis courts, fitness and health center , putting green, and a bike rental facility. Bali is not only gorgeous but it would be an awesome activity packed vacation.

Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica

Puerto Viejo is known for its wonderful beach town on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. It is known so well that it was in the top 10 most visited vacation spots around the world for the year. Puerto Viejo is a place where you can go to relax, it offers many things as well like long walks on the beautiful beaches, experiencing the wildlife, snorkeling or diving in the many reefs in the crystal clear waters, world-class surfing, mountain biking, kayaking and cultural visits to indigenous people, and many more. Puerto Viejo has it all, its beautiful, has many activities, and is perfect for all vacations weather you want to sight see, relax, or just have some fun, Puerto Viejo has it all!

Mt. Hood, Oregon

Mt. Hood, Oregon is a mountain that has some of the best summer skiing in North America. I have personally been there two summers, and it has been really fun. The skiing conditions are nice because the snow is really soft and it is good for training. Government Camp is a small town very close to the mountain that is a really nice place to go and relax after skiing. Huckleberry Inn, also known as Hucks, is located in the middle of Govy(Government Camp) and has amazing milk shakes. Another fun thing to do in the area is go visit Hood River. Hood River is a large river surrounding Mt. Hood. You can rent sail boats, paddle boats and canoes. Aside form the river, the town of Hood River is really fun to walk around and is alot different from an east coast cities. 

Israel

Israel is the home to the three of the biggest religions in the world, Christianity, Judaism and Islam. It has really nice cities and has beautiful buildings. One of the best cities to go to is Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv is located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea so it has amazing beaches. The city also has interesting historical buildings and museums, and has a great markets for shopping. Israel's capital is Jerusalem, located in the Judean Mountains. A great place to go visit in Jerusalem is the Old City, which shows alot of history about the religion of Judaism. One of the most interesting places to go visit is the Dead Sea, a large salt lake that if you swim in, you float. The Dead Sea is almost 9 times saltier than the ocean. Israel is a great travel spot for someone who is looking to learn alot about ancient history and enjoy and nice vacation. 

South Africa

As you may know South Africa is where the 2010 World Cup soccer event took place.  South Africa  has many more things just to do other then being one of the top places to play soccer. One of the many reasons to go their is that it is a beautiful place to be, and it is even an affordable price. One of the many things to do is go to the Great Outdoors. There are many Great Outdoors located throughout the country. This is a great place to go to because they offer adventures, a wild life safari, and other natural attractions. The facilities top activity is the wild life safari. The safari takes you through the wild life and takes you to see the craziest animals close up. This safari is said to be one of the best that South Africa offers you.

Colorado, USA

Everybody knows Colorado is known for its amazing ski resorts, Vail, Copper (picture above), Loveland, Breckenridge, and so many more. I have been to Colorado two times. Both times I have gone to Copper Mountain on ski trips with my school, Stratton Mountain School (SMS). Along with Copper, SMS goes to Vail. These two mountains are great because they both have perfect snow conditions for all types of skiing from training gates on icy hard snow, to fresh powder in the trees. They have everything. Another fun thing that I like to do when I go to Colorado is go to the town of Breckenridge. It is only half an hour away from Copper and it is fun because you can do many things. For an example, you can go shopping, grab some ice cream, and even go on horse slay rides! Lastly, I also like going to Beaver Creek to watch the World Cup Ski race called the Birds of Prey. It is one of the best races to go to because it is the first race of the World Cup Tour of the season. Hope you go and visit Colorado soon!!!

Greece

"I want to move there because the food, the people, and the scenery"-Tyne Pike-Sprenger and Dave Rothman.  In this post, I'm going to talk about one the the islands in greece, Santorini. This is Dave and Tyne's (teachers from my school) favorite place at Greece. Santorini is an island that was once a volcano, but erupted. Half of the volcano is under water but the other half is still there. The island is in the shape of crescent moon because only half of the island is there and it is very steep. It is also known for having different colored beaches such as white, red, black. This is caused by the eruption of the volcano. The picture above is Santorini facing the Mediterranean Sea. 

Greek Food

Paris, France

Paris is knows for its Eiffel Tower, Historical landmarks, museums, and of course shopping. The Louvre is one of the best known museums, it is where the 'Mona Lisa' is today. An Historical landmark is the Sacre-Coeur it is an enormous mock Ramano-Byzatine edifice. If your over by Ox-fod-bases Cowley Manor they have one of the best places to eat. The L 'Hotel is heard to be the best with there short seasonal menu and of course there head chef Philip Belisse is heard to be the best.

Atlantis,Bahamas

Atlanits is a great place to go if your looking for some fun. Personally, it was my favorite vacation spot i have been to. There are a range of active to do at Atlantis that is best for you. The lazy river is a blast, you sit on a tube and relax and it will take you all around the resort, on the way their are rapids and watersides that you can do. The Leap of Faith (what atlantis is know for) is by far the most fun/scariest water slide in the park. Another activity you can do is swim with Dolphins. Their are two options, deep water and shallow water. Deep water is when you actually get to hold on the them and go for a ride while shallow water is when you get to kiss the Dolphin, see them do tricks and more. Lastly, their are tons of amazing pools throughout the resort. All of them are different from one another, they all have there ups and downs, but there all beautiful. 

New Zealand

New Zealand is a great place to go on vacation, especially if you like to ski or snowboard. One of the best times to visit New Zealand is during the summer, because there are late winter conditions and the snow is better. If your going there to ski or snowboard, The Wanaka mountain range and Queenstown ski and snowboard resorts are heard to be the best. On the other hand, their are other great things to do in NZ other then being on the snow, one thing you can do is go to the nearby lakes and blast around in a jet boat, swing from a bungy, and use the currency to your advantage and go shopping!
