"I want to move there because the food, the people, and the scenery"-Tyne Pike-Sprenger and Dave Rothman. In this post, I'm going to talk about one the the islands in greece, Santorini. This is Dave and Tyne's (teachers from my school) favorite place at Greece. Santorini is an island that was once a volcano, but erupted. Half of the volcano is under water but the other half is still there. The island is in the shape of crescent moon because only half of the island is there and it is very steep. It is also known for having different colored beaches such as white, red, black. This is caused by the eruption of the volcano. The picture above is Santorini facing the Mediterranean Sea. |
